The check-in process was smooth, and the hotel staff were accommodating, even helping with a credit card issue I had.

Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
Unfortunately, the hot water was barely warm, which made showering uncomfortable. Additionally, I was disappointed to find the breakfast options limited to just some muffins and stale cereal. The noise from the air conditioning unit was quite disruptive throughout the night.

Unexpected gems in an average stay
The location near I-20 made dining easy, with Cracker Barrel right across the street. Loved the convenient access to various food options nearby too!
Unfortunately, the cleanliness left much to be desired as my room had some dusty corners and stains on the furniture. The shower’s awkward design didn’t help either.

The staff offered outstanding service, even allowing an
extended checkout at no extra charge. The room itself was clean and comfortable, featuring a fridge and coffee maker. I appreciated the complimentary breakfast, though the location had some traffic challenges. Overall, it was a decent stay for a quick visit.

the stay was almost delightful, except for the pool being closed in July, and the breakfast selection was just sad—literally muffins and stale cereal? as if I wasn't special enough to deserve better. I eagerly awaited a room upgrade or even a welcome gift, but alas, nothing. how disappointing for such a ‘renowned’ establishment.

I loved how patient the staff was when my room key kept dying because I accidentally kept it near my phone, and the trash bin in the room was super handy for my leftovers. Relaxing by the outdoor pool and lounging in the sunroom was a highlight after busy days. The WiFi was a bit spotty at times, but that didn't bother me too much on my trip! 😊

missingWrote a review on 18 Mayfriendly staffconvenient locationsprinkler issueunpleasant odorlow water pressure
The air-conditioning unit sparked a fire which was alarming, but the front desk staff acted quickly and were friendly throughout the situation. Unfortunately, the hallways had a strong odor that made for an uncomfortable atmosphere, especially with families present. The shower had low water pressure, making it difficult to enjoy. While the location is convenient to access I-20 and nearby restaurants, it wasn't enough to overshadow the concerns.
